Student ambassador – Aalto Squad
The Aalto Squad is looking for new members!
Have you enjoyed your time at Aalto and would like to share your experiences as a part of Aalto’s student marketing team? Do you want to gain work experience while enhancing your communicational and presentation skills? Wish to make friends with other Aalto students studying other fields than yourself while working? If yes, apply to be part of the Aalto Squad!
We are looking for a part-time Trainee to a diverse group of students who want to take part in different marketing activities. The position requires good time management, public speaking, teamwork and communication skills. We value a proactive attitude and interest towards marketing over prior experience.
Some Squad activities that you can take part in:

Giving private campus tours to prospective students

Creating content for social media (Instagram, Snapchat, …)

Sharing student experience in domestic and international events such as fairs and webinars

Hosting the Squadcast-podcast
-
Hosting weekly Coffee with Squad sessions for prospective students

Chatting with prospective students on the Unibuddy platform
-
Writing blog posts on the More than the degree blog

Any other great ideas the Squad comes up with!
The job is part-time (max 20hours/month) from 1 January to 31 December 2026 and compensation is based on working hours. The Squad works in English.
Please submit a CV and a cover letter as well as a max 30 second long video of yourself telling why you would be a great student ambassador for Aalto. Please include the link (for example YouTube, Vimeo, TikTok or Google Drive) into your CV / cover letter and add any credentials that may be required to view the video. Include any relevant social media channels in your application that could be beneficial in expressing your experience.
To be considered, you must be an enrolled Aalto University degree student for at least one semester in 2026. Only documents delivered in the required manner by the deadline will be taken into consideration.
Please apply on 24 Oct the latest. Applications will be processed already during the application period. Interviews will be held between 10 to 18 November as group interviews online via Zoom.
