Tiago Martins Pinto (b. 1985, Porto, Portugal) is a media arts lecturer, art-based researcher, and multimedia artist based in Helsinki, Finland. He is a doctoral candidate in Art Education at Aalto University in the Department of Art and Media, where his research explores STEAM education, and informal pedagogies as tools for promoting social justice and educational equity in youth centers.
Tiago is also a workshop master in Arts Infra for IT Environments, which combines creative arts and technology, providing students hands-on experience in integrating art into IT, like e.g. creative coding or interactive installation.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia from the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança and a Master’s degree in Contemporary Art Creation from the University of Aveiro, Portugal.
