Google Drive
Google Drive is a cloud storage and collaboration platform for file management and sharing. It enables real-time collaboration where multiple users can simultaneously edit documents.
Google Drive complements the cloud service selection at Aalto University.
The service is personal data storage, and its content and data are deleted according to university policies when the service is no longer in use or the Aalto ID is closed.
How to start using Google Drive?

- The high usage of personal cloud storage increases the risks of preserving important data. Store important files and research data in group-specific storage.
- Content and data stored in the service are saved in the cloud environment, for which the university does not have backups. You need to take your own backups.
- The service's space is limited and can change, and the university does not provide additional space for the user.
