Admission to the Bachelor's Programme in Science and Technology is based on either the SAT/ACT test results, or the grades obtained in the Finnish Matriculation Examination, the , the , the or Reifeprüfung (RP) diploma (DIA/RP diploma completed in Finland only). For detailed information, see the Admission process section.
Please note that as an Aalto University student you cannot be granted a right to pursue a degree in a study option if you have already earned a degree or have a valid right to pursue one in that study option.
At Aalto University, a student may have only one valid study right for a given degree. If you accept a new study right in a bachelor's programme leading to the same degree at Aalto, your previous study right will be cancelled.
In Aalto Bachelor's Programme in Science and Technology, 70 per cent of the available study places in Admission Group III are reserved for applicants applying for their first higher education degree (quota for first time applicants). The first-time quota only applies to Admission Group III.
