Talent Expo - Expo Information
Event Date and Location
Thursday, 6 November 2025. Dipoli, Otaniemi Campus. Otakaari 24, 02150 Espoo
Opening Hours
Aalto Talent Expo will be open from 11:00 to 17:00.
Expo Program
Talent Expo brings together around 100 employers from various industries under one roof every year. The event offers an excellent opportunity for employers to meet and recruit Aalto University students while building a positive employer brand among future professionals. For students, the event is a great chance to connect with potential future employers at their booths and showcase their own skills.
A free CV photo shoot will also be available throughout the day. Participants will receive their photos immediately by email.
In addition, a range of virtual side events will take place prior to the main exhibition day (on 4 and 5 November). These include CV and LinkedIn clinics, portfolio reviews, and speed mentoring sessions — including one specifically for doctoral students — all conducted online.
More information about the full expo programme can be found here!
Exhibition Stands
Each exhibitor will be assigned their own exhibition stand. The allocated floor space must not be exceeded, and all decorations and furniture must fit within the designated area. If your materials exceed the allocated space, the organiser reserves the right to charge an additional fee for the extra area. Exact measurements for the stands can be found on this page.
Stand construction takes place on Thursday 6th November 2025 between 7:00 and 11:00. This schedule must also be communicated to any subcontractors involved. Unfortunately, changes or exceptions to this timetable cannot be made. The organiser reserves the right to charge a separate fee if the time limits are not followed. A detailed construction schedule and related instructions will be sent to the designated contact person(s) closer to the event.
Dismantling of stands begins no earlier than 17:00 and must be completed by 20:00. All waste and materials must be cleared from the stand.
Please note: No pyrotechnics, cooking equipment, or items that may pose potential danger to attendees are allowed at the stands. Open flames are strictly prohibited within the exhibition area. Subleasing your stand is not permitted.
Accessibility at Dipoli
Unfortunately, Dipoli is not fully accessible. The fair takes place across two floors, and the second floor is primarily accessed via stairs. However, we want to ensure the best possible experience for all participants and exhibitors. If you have any questions about accessibility, arrival arrangements or transportation of materials, please contact us in advance at talentexpo@aalto.fi. We are happy to assist in any way we can.
Aalto University’s principles for a safer space
We require all participants to follow Aalto University’s principles for a safer space. We do not tolerate any inappropriate behaviour, bullying, or harassment. As an exhibitor and participant, you commit to respecting these guidelines. If you notice or experience any inappropriate conduct, please report it immediately to the event organisers or security personnel.
In cases of harassment within the Aalto community, you can also contact AYY’s harassment contact persons via the online contact form or by email at equity@ayy.fi. Please note that AYY’s harassment contact persons may not be available during the event itself, and replies are usually given within a few days. In urgent situations, never hesitate to speak directly with the organisers or security.
Environmentally Sustainable Talent Expo
Talent Expo is organised in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. All participants are expected to act in an environmentally responsible way. As an exhibitor, we ask that you reflect this in both the design and implementation of your stand. Here are some ways to promote sustainability:
- Prefer digital materials (e.g. QR codes linking to additional information) instead of printed ones. If you do use print materials, we encourage ecological alternatives, such as recycled paper or reused materials.
- Consider in advance whether giveaway items are truly necessary and impactful. Could a different method be more effective in communicating your message to students? We also encourage using existing materials instead of ordering new ones.
- If you do distribute items, choose ones that are practical, long-lasting, and made from sustainable materials (e.g. recycled or reusable materials) – and ensure their use at the event is well-justified.
Let’s work together to minimise the environmental impact of the event by making responsible choices. Even small actions make a difference – let’s build a sustainable and environmentally friendly Talent Expo together!
