Access right activation: Tenants and coworking customers
Instructions for tenants and coworking customers on how to activate access rights and access tokens.
Access to companies is granted and maintained by Aalto University Campus & Real Estate (ACRE). Based on the lease agreement, ACRE defines the access rights for the company and creates the company superuser (administrator).
The access rights of the employees are defined in the contract of the company and are the same as the company access rights. The defined superuser will create and maintain the employee user records in .
According to the employment contracts, the superuser will define access right (emloyment contract) start and end dates to the employees.
Activating the access right to the token
In this process, there are two options:
- The superuser registers a new employee's information and token information in . The activated token is delivered by the superuser to the employee OR
- The superuser registers a new employee's information in . The superuser instructs the employee to pick up an empty token from lobby services. The employee registers and activates the token independently in .
Access right deactivation
The access right is automatically terminated according to the end date inserted in . According to the employment contracts, the superuser updates the employees' access right (employment contract) end dates.
For reuse, the tokens need to be returned to lobby services.
