Identity Work as Strategy: Rethinking Leadership and Entrepreneurship in Media Work - Research seminar with Sven-Ove Horst

In this research seminar, Assistant Professor Sven-Ove Horst (Erasmus University Rotterdam) brings identity work to the center of organization studies by showing how strategy, leadership, and entrepreneurship are grounded in ongoing processes of professional becoming. Drawing on research with media managers, entrepreneurs, and students, it examines how actors construct coherence and legitimacy in platformized environments. The talk connects media management to relational and practice-based perspectives, offering a more processual understanding of work, agency, and organizing.
