Restaurant VMT2 opens at the Circular Raw Materials Hub
Sodexo opens a new lunch restaurant, VMT2, on February 5, 2020 at the Circular Raw Materials Hub at Vuorimiehentie 2. The restaurant's entrance is in the Kemistintie side of the building. The restaurant serves the building's users as well as other customers in the area.

The restaurant, Assembly Hall and auditorium will be operated by Kanresta Oy under the name Ravintola Töölö.

The Undergraduate Centre’s locking and access control system is changing
A new Abloy OS locking and access control system will be installed in Otakaari 1 from the beginning of January. The new system is a core component of Aalto University's access control processes.
Puumiehenkuja street works completed
Street renovations, which started in spring 2019, are nearly completely done. Landscaping work will be carried out during spring 2020.
The quietest place in Finland - Acoustics Lab renovation is complete
The laboratory and its office facilities were thoroughly refurbished.
A meeting point for the research and planning of human-centred living environments
The Grand Opening of the Aalto Living+ Hub in Otaniemi attracted about 120 researchers and representatives of the industry and nearby cities. The program included keynotes, research pitches, networking, and the presentation of the new multimedia equipment.
Café Kylteri is open during the Christmas week
Café Kylteri is open from Monday to Friday (16.–20 Dec.) at 8:30 am–3:00 pm.
The entire Chemical Engineering building (Kemistintie 1) will start using the ABLOY PROTEC2 CLIQ locking system
This change concerns all users of the building. The new CLIQ keys will be distributed before the new locks are installed, the keys are picked up from the lobby service.

Finnish Post and Logistics Union strike will cause problems in mail delivery
Service Sector Employers Palta and the Finnish Post and Logistics Union PAU continued the collective agreement negotiations on Thursday, November 7, led by the National Conciliator. As the negotiations did not lead to a solution, the strike announced by PAU will start on Monday 11 November.
