The new access control tokens will be introduced in all Otaniemi campus buildings. When using your new access control token, please take the following factors into account.

Jokeri Light Rail excavation on Otaniementie to start in June
The excavation work on Otaniementie will start in June. Blasting will be carried out 1–3 times a day. The excavation work will last for approximately three months.
A jewel-like art piece won Aalto University Töölö’s invited art competition
Artist Sakari Kannosto's artwork titled ‘Kiertää’ deals with the circle of life, achievements and the rewarding of expectations. The piece will be located in the staircase space at Aalto Töölö.

Introducing the new access token for the Otaniemi campus
Over the summer, the campus will adopt new access tokens (access cards). The access token will open the entrance doors of buildings. Going forward, certain hallways, elevators and other spaces will only be accessible with the access token. Mechanical keys for offices will not be changed for the time being.
Jokeri Light Rail construction on Otaniementie to continue in week 21
The construction of the light rail will continue on Otaniementie in May 2020 with the removal of topsoil and tree stumps.
