CMT (Aalto University’s Crisis Management Team) decided at the time, that personal waste bins would be removed to ensure that the persons providing cleaning services could better focus their resources on disinfecting the most important contact surfaces.

As part of the national Energy Awareness Week, Campus Sustainability Team arranged a Sustainable Campus Event on Wednesday 7 October 2020. Posti's parcel locker will start operating in K-Market Otaniemi on Monday, 12 October, and Lehtipiste's Pakettipiste parcel locker on the second floor of A Bloc in October on week 43.
Otaniemi already has 1,800 metres of track
The construction of Jokeri Light Rail is under way in Otaniemi. A total of 1,800 metres of track has already been laid on Maarintie, Maarinrannatie and on Lahdenpohjanraitio next to Ring Road I.
New terrace to be added to Otaniemi’s shopping centre

Campus restaurants are opening their doors
Many of the campus student and lunch restaurants open their doors at the turn of August and September.

The personal and bank account details of the university's guests as well as the data and receipts of the travel expenses will be collected only with the electronic expense reimbursement form starting from 1.9.2020.
Student Mobility on Campus in the Beginning of Academic Year
As of Monday, 31 August, students will gain access those buildings on campus which offer contact teaching or study-related support services or have student cafeterias or bookable self-study spaces. Please notice, that HSL-card is not in use in this situation. Students can access the buildings during their opening hours through specifically marked entrances.
