Aalto University offers 200 new study places in this year’s joint application process

The additional places will for the most part be allocated to the entrance examination selection.

This year, Aalto University will increase its number of places in the bachelor's degree programmes in the joint application process by approx. 200. In the field of science and technology, the number of places increases by approx. 150, in business and economics by approx. 35, of which 5 places are via the open university route, and in art and design by approx. 15. The additional places will, for the most part, be allocated to the entrance examination selection.

‘Last spring was challenging for applicants due to changes and uncertainty caused by the pandemic. Aalto University wants to shoulder its societal responsibility and offer more young people the opportunity to receive an education. Ensuring competence is key to rising from exceptional circumstances,’ states Petri Suomala, Vice President of Education at Aalto University.
