Bring your child to work day 2025 at the Department of Applied Physics
The Department organized a small program for employees and their children to enjoy the day together on 21. November 2025
Children at our work place
The Department of Applied Physics, in conjunction with our Diversity Team, invites employees and their children every year to participate in Children's Day at Work. This day is a national event to promote integration of children into adults' lives and workplaces.
Employees' children could choose between crafting rolling cylinders (and testing those on a slope), visiting the Nanomicroscopy Center or making ice cream. All activities were provided by Jami Kinnunen and his student Applied Physics Outreach Team and OtaNano staff scientist Ramzy Abdelaziz. A big thanks to both and the students for providing and guiding the activities!
