Join the Unite! Virtual Education Summit- Registration now open

The full-day summit focuses on Higher Education for Democracy in a Changing Global Landscape. It will highlight Unite! Seed Fund projects and provide matchmaking opportunities for participants interested in international joint teaching or collaborative degree programs.

In the current global context, delivering education that supports student agency and strengthens ethical and democratic structures is more important than ever. The summit will provide a platform for participants to take part in meaningful discussions and experience inspiring presentations. 

The topics are:

  • EDIFICITECA, a canonical collection of urban buildings to educate future architects.
  • Confluences: Uniting disciplines for sustainable solutions
  • Why teach online?: Three practical reasons from an international education perspective

  • Shaping the Post-Doc of Tomorrow: Co-Designing Training Pathways for Researcher Mobility
  • The midwifery role of education in the continuing rebirth of democracy. On teaching ethics and global ethics at universities
  • Towards a Blueprint for Democratic and Transnational Engineering Education: Insights from the Unite! Learning Network

  • Value-driven education? Democratic competence and the educational role of Unite!

The summit will also feature a keynote presentation by Professor Arnold Pears from KTH entitled, 鈥淗uman-centric education in the age of AI鈥.
