You can order text message notifications concerning the excavation work. Jokeri Light Rail will send out notifications approximately one hour before each blast. You can order the service by sending the message RAIDE OTANIEMI to 18200. The service is free of charge.

The construction work is going to cause some changes to be made to driving lanes and speeds as well as pedestrian and cycling routes. Motor vehicles will, however, be able to drive along Otaniementie at all times. At least one side of the road will remain open to pedestrian and cycling traffic throughout the works. All changes will be communicated near the construction site and on our website.

The work is mainly done between 7 am and 6 pm on weekdays. Some less noisy work may be performed in the evenings between 6 and 10 pm, at weekends and on mid-week holidays.
