Aalto University has improved its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings, rising one spot from last year to 195th place. Aalto was particularly successful in teaching and cooperation with industry, which is assessed by the university鈥檚 ability to obtain funding from companies and the number of patents.

This year, THE鈥檚 World University Ranking evaluated more than 2,000 universities from 115 different countries and territories. The University of Oxford from the UK was once again in the first place, now for the tenth consecutive year.
