The biggest alumni event of the School of Business - Homecoming Day - is organized usually every second year. The previous Homecoming Day was organized on 31 January 2025. The School of Business Alum of the Year will also be announced at the Homecoming Day.

Homecoming Day is one of the School of Business's biggest alumni events. It offers inspiring discussions on current topics and a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends.

School of Business celebrates its 17th Ceremonial Conferment of Doctorates and Masterâs Degrees at the old Main Building, currently known as Aalto University Töölö on 21-23 May 2026. The ceremony in 2026 will confer master's degrees on new alumni (promovendi) with graduation dates between 1 April 2022 and 30 March 2026 and doctorates on alumni with graduation dates between 1 May 2022 and 30 March 2026. In addition to these young promovendi, jubilee masters and doctors from 1976 and the new honorary doctors of the School of Business will be conferred at the ceremony.

The Ceremonial Conferment of Aalto University School of Business was held at Aalto Töölö, in Runeberginkatu, Helsinki, from May 12 to 14, 2022.
Better Business â Better Society seminar seriesoffers opportunities to learn about current societally important topics at the School of Business. We invite our collaborators, supporters and alumni to the seminar at the School, and everyone else interested in the topic to follow the live stream via Youtube. The seminars are arranged monthly, generally on the first Thursday of the month, excluding holiday seasons. The seminars are held either in Finnish or English. The seminar speakers are professors from our School and guests from the business sector.

Jaakko Honko event is organized every second year. The previous Jaakko Honko event was organized on 21 August 2025. Invitations to these events are sent to the School of Business alumni who are in the alumni register.
