STATA MP2 campus license is now available
STATA MP2 campus license for all Aalto students and staff for use in home computers and Aalto workstations. Stata is a general-purpose statistical software package used for data management, statistical analysis, graphics, simulations, regression, and custom programming.

Aalto ITS will update the Microsoft Edge browser on centrally managed Windows workstations.
Statement regarding Zoom's security
The Funet Miitti (Zoom) service used by Aalto differs from the general Zoom service in that it is implemented on a Nordic basis, in accordance with Finnish law and European data protection regulations. The users in the academic community and the academic environment are better protected than the general consumer service. Clear vulnerabilities have been addressed in the new Zoom versions and all users are urged to upgrade their devices immediately.
