External liftup
External liftups are used to create links to content residing outside the aalto.fi site in a way that is cohesive with the rest of your page.
To create an external liftup hover your mouse over "Content" in the upper left-hand corner. Select "Add content"from the drop-down menu and then select "External liftup".
Add the URL of the page you want to link to and clickon "Fill page details". The details and image of the page will be retrieved and filled in automatically. Edit any fields if necessary. After you are finished, click on the “Publish” toggle and save the content.
Note that Drupal is not always able to fetch the image and information automatically, or they may not work for your content (this depends on the content you're linking to). If the details and image are not fetched automatically or they do not work for your needs, add an image manually and add or edit the text.
Once you have created your external liftup, you can add it to your page as either a manual liftup or a single liftupcomponent.
N.B.: Remember to create translations for your external liftups.

The first component is a manual liftup in display size small, and the second one is a single liftup in display size medium.
